About

Inspired by the Norse myth Fenrir, this Brazillian duo defines their music as Heavy Metal with modern influences from Alternative Metal and dark elements from Gothic Metal. The band was created in mid-2015, and their songs are about mythology and fantastic themes, but also about personal themes as rejection, pain, depression, losses, and love.

The self-titled album was released in October 2017 with positive reception from the specialized media and the public, figuring among the pre-selected albums to be voted as best album of the year on the Roadie Crew magazine website, and also on Roadie Metal website, this last one the album was among the 20 most voted albums by the audience. The debut album was produced by Fabiano Negri and co-produced by Ric Palma at Minster Studios in Campinas/Brazil.

On the original line-up, Fenrir’s Scar had the band members: Gabriel Rezende (bass),  Ildécio Santos (drums), Paulo Victor (guitars), Vinicius Prado (Guitars) and Graziely Maria (keys). However, due to unfortunate reasons, the founding members André and Desireé decided to continue the journey on their own alongside the producer Fabiano Negri.

The duo is working on their upcoming full-length album to be released on 2022, named “Love | Hate | Hope | Despair”. With Fabiano Negri’s production and Icaro Ravelo (Ruins of Elysium, Arcana Fen) as guest drum player. The album already has has six singles released: Heal You an english-portuguese ballad. Curse of Mankind, a questioning song about the behavior of humanity towards nature. The Enemy Inside, a song with heavy riffs, catchy synths and both melodic and growling vocals, about our own inner enemy. Break the Wheel, an empowerment song which is a revolution scream against a theocratic society. Blinded a song about toxic relationships and All Your Tears, a sad & romantic ballad.
